Cheney gave and confirmed the order to shoot down commercial United Flight 93. Shortly
thereafter, 93 hit the ground in Pennsylvania. Hours later, we are told the passengers
crashed the plane in a scuffle with the terrorists. What a fortunate turn of events for
Cheney. |

9-11 Standdown or Criminal Negligence or Dereliction of Duty? |
Relying on "skin-paint" radar returns, Air National Guard troops at Norad's
Northeast Air Defense Sector tried to locate hijacked aircraft after terrorists silenced the
transponders.

NEADS commander Col. Robert K. Marr, Jr. ordered two F-15 fighters sitting alert at Otis
Air National Guard (ANG) Base, MA, to 'battle stations.' 'The fighters were cocked and
loaded, and even had extra gas on board,' he recalled.

Why didn't our national air defense work on the morning of 9-11?
How can our air defense protecting Washington, D.C. remain on the ground AFTER the WTC has
been hit by two airplanes and air traffic control is showing two more commercial jets off
course with one of them heading towards the nation's capitol?
This one failure of our government, by itself represents criminal
negligence, but NO ONE has been held to account for these failures.
Civilians are put into prison for criminal negligence resulting in death when they should
have been in control. How can the people who populate our government go scott free for this
gross failure to defend our skies?
What was going on the morning of 9-11 that might have caused our air defense to STAND DOWN
and ALLOW the 9-11 attacks to succeed?
The articles below document a 'drill,' perhaps multiple 'drills,' that were being conducted
the morning of 9-11-2001.
One drill consisted of a plane crashing into 'one of the four towers at the [Chantilly,
Va.-based National Reconnaissance Office] headquarters building . four miles from the
runways of Washington Dulles International Airport.'.
Another drill (?), a 'semiannual exercise known as Vigilant Guardian,' had F-15 fighters
'cocked and loaded, [with] extra gas on board.' On the morning of 9-11-2001, 'Senior
officers involved in Vigilant Guardian were manning Norad command centers throughout the
U.S. and Canada, available to make immediate decisions.'
Where is the investigation? Where is the accountability? Where is the indignation?
