Republic of Texas Website Shut Down by Feds
Site gaining notoriety for showing that the United

On Thursday, October 25, 2001 at approximately 11:00 pm the Republic of Texas
Provisional Government possibly became one of the first victims in the United
States Government’s war against dissident groups on what it perceives to be
it’s own soil. The national website was taken down and our email was totally
shut down. Most of the files that we use to publish the website were deleted.
According to our web hosting company, they show that our site has been in this
shape since the 24th of September. As many of you are aware, the site has been
active since this date. The information that we promulgated around this time,
that we feel may be related to this incident was the publication of a news
article in the Boston Globe that was favorable to our current operations and the
article showing that the United States has definite plans to place civilians in
internment camps (see).
Since this time we have become aware that some people that have a background in
military special operations that had volunteered to work with the Provisional
Government and the RTDF have been approached by various agencies of the United
States Government and warned not to “associate with the Republic of Texas”.
Everyone in the Republic of Texas leadership has had suspicious problems with
telephone and Internet services and we have each been under various forms of
surveillance for several weeks now.
This is not an acceptable situation. We plan to upload the files back to server
within the next 48 hours. However, this may be a temporary solution. We will
continue to actively work toward the goal of Texas independence regardless of
the actions of the Federal oppressors. If, for some reason, this site goes down
again and we cannot communicate via the national site, check www.texasreserve.com
or call us at (903) 759-9790.
We need your support now more than ever to help fight the coming police state. I
urge all of you that have a heart for liberty to contact us immediately to
