Rose Lear, ended her hunger strike on day 30, April 3, 2003, after
receiving assurances from her congressman, Pete Koekstra, that he will help her get the
answer she seeks from congress to the 537 questions regarding what appears to be unlawful
enforcement of income tax laws against U.S. Citizens. If you have
information that can assist in answering the questions, please contact his office.
IRS and DOJ Defer to Congress
When asked to address these questions, the IRS and Department of Justice defer to
Congress as the legislative arm of government, who write the laws. The IRS and DOJ
say, "we only enforce the laws, we don't write them."
537 Questions Have Been Officially Served, Twice
The entire congress was served with the 537 questions by WeThePeople foundation on two
different occasions: April 15, 2002 and Nov. 8, 2002. Congress is in default of their
constitutional duty to reply to these questions officially served them. Rose Lear's
fast was to force the issue.
